2009 Veterans Day Ceremonies
On November 11, 2009, Veterans Day ceremonies will be held at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts.
1000 Pershing Rifles Alumni gather in Room 440 Egan for an informal reunion followed by a wreath laying for their members at the Veterans Memorial.
1300 A Remembrance Ceremony for those Northeastern University Alumni memorialized on the Northeastern University Veterans Memorial will be held on the 6th floor of the Northeastern University Alumni Center. The Remembrance Ceremony includes the reading of all those Alumni memorialized on the Northeastern University Veterans memorial
1430 Ceremonies, including the laying of wreathes and the playing of taps by the 26th Infantry Division Band will be held at the Northeastern University Veterans Memorial. The ceremony will include a tribute to US Marine Corps Captain Eric Jones of Mashpee, MA who was recently killed in Afghanistan.
Free parking is availabe at the the Columbus Avenue parking lot.
