Welcome to the ROTC Alumni Society website.
As your President I would like to take this opportunity to take part in our small but active organization.
As we end another school year, I'd like to bid the Professor of Military Science (PMS) LTC Kate Scanlon a fond farewell as she accepts her new assignment in Hawaii. The Executive Board paid tribute to her all too short tenure at a small farewell party held at her home in South Boston. The Executive Board thanked her for a job well done and presented her with a small token of the Alumni Societys gratitude. Her replacement, LTC Soldato is due to arrive in July
Some upcoming events of interest include:
- The annual Veteran's Day Ceremony on in November 2009, date to be announced. This event will coincide with our annual meeting.
More specific details will follow.
We continue to seek mentors for our cadets. Please take a few minutes and review the program to see if you can "lend your experience" to assist our next generation of Army officers. You do not have to live locally to support this program. Remote sponsors are welcome too.
